What is Capitalization?

When you write, you use signals to show your reader where your sentences begin and end. Capital letters are used to start sentences. Capitalization is writing a word with its first letter as a capital letter and the remaining letters lower case. Capital letters are often used to start sentences. Capitalize all proper nouns. You must capitalize the beginning of sentences and all proper nouns. Capitalize names of specific people, places, things or ideas. You must capitalize days of the week, months of the year, and the beginning of sentences.
