What is editing?

Editing is the correcting, condensing or modifying of written text or publication. Editing is the stage of the writing process in which the write tries to improve a draft by correcting errors. To be a good writer, a student must learn how to edit and understand edits in their writing. Our editing worksheets may be used for a variety of grade levels.
