Circling and Writing Conjunctions Worksheet
About this Worksheet: This conjunctions worksheet directs the student to circle the conjunction in each pair of phrases and write compound sentences with conjunctions. The first part of the conjunction worksheet has the student read each sentence and circle the conjunction that connects the two phrases. This will teach the student how to recognize conjunctions within sentences. The second part of the conjunction worksheet will have the student write two simple sentences, and then connect them by adding a conjunction. This gives the student good practice with writing conjunctions.
This worksheet is suitable for 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade.
