Shifting Perspectives Worksheet
About this Worksheet: This point of view worksheet directs the student to read the given story and write which point of view it is written from. After the student writes the point of view, they must choose a minor character other than the narrator or main speaker and write a paragraph from that minor character's point of view or perspective. The student will see how a minor character may view things differently from the main character or narrator. This shift in perspective is a great point of view exercise to help students see things from a different point of view.
This worksheet is suitable for 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade.
