Writing a Summary Worksheet

This summary worksheet instructs the student to write a summary for the given text. The summary should be at least five sentences and start with a topic sentence. After the topic sentence, the summary should provide details and if needed, a citation or line from the text to support its assertion. This summary worksheet can be used for most grade levels.
