Counting the Syllables Worksheet
About this Worksheet: This syllables worksheet instructs the student to read each word and count the number of syllables in it. This syllable worksheet contains a list of words that can be divided into number syllables. The student must count each syllable and write if it has one, two, three or four syllables. They will learn that a syllable is a unit of spoken langauge made up of a single uninterrupted sound formed by a vowel.
This worksheet is suitable for 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade and 12th grade.
